Fordite the new rock

Have you guys seen this, i guess the rock community in an uproar as to if its a rock or not.

Yes I have and rock or not, it is very cool. My wife is a jeweler and has made some super cool stuff with it.

it is interesting and im sure some cool stuff could be made with this but i dont see why someone would think it will have some kind of impact on rocks or life as we know it..

I was picturing people arguing online if this was a rock or not... thinking it was funny...

Then I began thinking about this site and the traditional/non-traditional arguments...

...and it wasn't so funny anymore.

but those rocks/not rocks are pretty cool
