Looking for a slip yoke for a 59 Fordomatic for my sons Edsel. Not sure what all interchanges. Anyone have one laying around they don’t need?

I have one from my 55 Ford-O-Matic that I am not using. Not sure it is the same? The transmission was working fine when I removed it and is still on the driveshaft out in the shop. I am in Oregon.

Didn’t you also have the Fordomatic for sale? I may need to buy both. I’ll see if I can figure out if the slip yokes are the same.

I have a free 56 fordomatic in my storage with no converter, bell housing or tail cover. Not positive on the yoke. The bell housing I have is for an FE as is the rear. In So Cal. Yes it worked perfect when removed with 8000 miles since a rebuild.

Yes, I am willing to part with the transmission as well. I was down to $25 for the transmission but you can have it if you can figure out how to get it. It is air cooled, slimy, and greasy but worked just fine when I removed it about a year ago. It was behind a 272 in my avatar. Mark

I may just be able to get that worked out. Let me do some checking.
