You gotta do what makes you happy. It would still be cool unchopped. Anymore chopping is so common on Model A's that an unchopped car is the exception anymore. In my opinion my fordor looks alot better chopped then unchopped, but thats just me:D

So how much did you whack it? I like the "mean" windshield look. By the way, is that one of those rare "no hole" visors? I thought every A-bone came with ventilated visors!

Hey man whats up? I chopped it 6", it'll be channeled 3". I'm not 6'4" so I mocked up a seat inside at the right height, and ran some string side to side at the 6" chop level to make sure I'll fit. It actually has way more headroom then I expected. Not like a Lincoln Navigator, but its not supposed to be:D.
You are 100% right about the visor, it is an EXTREMELY RARE solid un-punched version with NO holes . I think you're right, it seems like Henry himself made these with holes, so many are punched hehe. I like the hole look, but I'm keeping this one with no holes, I think it makes the front look more sinister this way.

Man I'm glad to hear from you Wayne! Like a dummy I lost your email address/Hamb user name, but I hoped I'd catch up with you on here soon. With the exception of the last few weeks, I'm making great progress on your body, I'm real happy with it. Next week I'll be able to get back on it and finish up the subframe areas of the top bows and I have to fab up rails to go from the top of the rear door jams to the windshield posts. Then it will finally be a rigid body again. Thanks for replying, I have your info now, and I'll keep new progress posted. Take care Wayne!

Yeah, to a point the subframe is stronger then it needs to be, but I didn't want the doors and body in general to lose its alignment. And so many
model a's I've ridden in have felt like the body would collapse when you drove it. Go around a turn and the body would sway as you turn. But I guess Henry didn't build em for speed and the hp we stuff in them. So I just want it to be solid, and I plan to keep this car, so I wanna do it once and right hehe. Thanks for the nice words bones!
