How many can say "That could have been me"? In 1956 - I was 5 years old

 

Not me. It will be 14 more years before I came into the world.

 

Couldn't have been me. I was 9 or so in '56...

 

At 11 years I would have been taller.

 

I was six and big for my age.

A Ford fit for the Queen ( I guess they couldn't find a Crown Vic)

 

Saw this crown vic in a 1977 magazine. The snap on cover for the glass top caught my eye. Wish I could rotate the picture for you.

Found this in some old family photos. This was belonged to my great great grandparents. Gotta love that camper.

that pic of camper is pretty neat I do not ever recall seeing a camper on a car of any year.I guess I should have got out more

 

My great great grandpa built them on several cars. I recall seeing another pic with a rambler with a camper and another on I believe a mid 60’s galaxie.

 

Even if ya stayed inside, you must've seen The Long, Long Trailer movie w/ Desi & Lucy at some point on the TV.
Can you imagine hauling this thing w/ an old Merc?
Lawd, I can smell those brakes from here. LOL

 

There were some scenes in the movie that a Lincoln was used because it looked very similar and the shots were very brief. The Lincoln was used in the mountain scenes where the trailer was being pulled up some very steep grades.
