I noticed that too. Deluxe Rear Deck Antenna, Aquamatic Washer, Adjust-O-Ring Mirror and then... Rear Seat Speaker (yaaawn). Who screwed that up?

I do not recall seeing a 58 with chrome headlight trim.after 57 the 58 was not as popular up here or the recession contributed to poor sales

Our troops were coming home from Korea and were finding their American Dream. 1firewall (1).JPG

Time frame would be Korea, but I think the majority of scenes like this were actually about wwII vets who made it home, got jobs and a wife/family, worked hard for a few years to save up for that downpayment on the American dream. Being born in '46, I was in the first wave of baby boomers, born in Waltham, Mass.. Mom and dad bought their first house in '56 out in the country in Acton. My parents were married prior to Dad headin' off to the war, I have an older sister by 3 years

This is my dad back in 1954, new house in 1952, kids on the way starting in 1953. He had a 2-door Mainline with the straight-6 and the 3-on-the-tree. It was a nice little car.

The Dairy Delight seems to be doing a booming business.
Watch tower folks?........are the conspirists (sp) going door to door in Phoenix now?

  27. I'd be guessing that tower is in Australia, NSW even. The people in the photo are looking for the nearest town to go doorknocking :)
