1952-59 Ford Fords from the past.

Small world! If you ever visit again look me up. True, beter than White Castle but they're not hard to beat. I'm hoping for a Whataburger. I see there's one in Birmingham now so they're slowly growing in my direction. They need to hurry, though. Ain't gettin' any younger...

Predates me by 2 years.

HaHa........I have no clue what a whipper is, let alone knowing how to snap one. Must be one of those trades that have long since gone by the wayside. Probably just as well, it obviously was a dangerous occupation, as you never heard of an old whippersnapper.
The guys from the other side of the pond are probably scratching their heads wondering what in the heck we're talking about.

Yes it is the same car. I have another one I got in '72, used for parts.

 

Ron, that is awsome. So next July you'll be celebrating this 50 yr old love affair? Shoot thats something to look up to.

 

I ran across this scanning through my class of '63 Yearbook,It was a big cross town rivalry deal when the Twin City teams of Champaign and Urbana played each other at Homecoming this picture shows a Merc getting decorated.

 

When I seen that photo I thought to myself "wow that looks like some of the old homes where I grew up" then I noticed the Medicine Hat, I am originally from Edmonton area. lol
