Funny how many cars get knocked down by the wheels on them. 20230916_145103.jpg 20230916_145546.jpg 20230916_144851.jpg

The white wheel rings on the green Chrysler came about back in the day when whitewalls weren’t so available after WW2 . They were supposed to “dress” up your car a bit.
I remember as a youngster we had them on our 47 Aerosedan, rarely seen these days.

Well I didn't get a damn trophy  they said my wheels were old and didn't match  need me some of them curved spoke torque thrust, everybody there had em lmao! Not only did I not get a trophy for being so damn cool, ol ruckus died on the off ramp and wouldn't start!! Finally, after holding it on the floor and cranking the balls off it, it started. Took my foot off the pedal and it died. Checked under the hood for obvious shit. Closed the hood, fired it up and took off. As long as I kept the rpm up it ran. Pulled in the drive and it died. Finally got it started and 6500rpm up the driveway. Now I gotta figure out what's up with that shit

It was rocking and rolling down the interstate just fine. 3300rpm, not a hiccup. Hit the exit and took my foot off and it bit the dust lol. Ah I still made it home without walking. I'll switch the distributor and see what happens.

Damnit i could've used your help! Some crazy looking woman stopped and asked if I ran out of gas, then she started telling me about her grand kids and her husband's Chevy pickup. You could've been my wing man :p
