forgive my ignorance

I have used the search engine and other sites about using a 2nd. Gen camaro gas tank in my 59 fleetside 3200 1/2 ton. I see info. About mustang tanks, but. I could have sworn I saw where someone used a camaro tank. Could someone lead me in the right direction?
