Using the ni- cop tubing and the Eastwood flaring tool I had no leaks.

Well actually I did have 2 leaks on the pipe thread fittings on my residual pressure valves because as I was installing them I thought “I should probably remove and put some thread sealant on those fittings “ , then promptly forgot about it :D

No leaks in the lines or any flares. Zero

Blue One, did you polish or scuff the lines for the fuel system? They look really nice, almost a satin sheen to them. What do they look like with a little polish on them? I have been using steel lines forever and getting pretty tired of polishing water spots off them. The copper with black intake and black Carters would look good.

Wow that's some really nice work there! I'm using nicop 2 - love it
It's slicker than snott on a door knob !

  4. I replaced my line from the master to the proportioning valve yesterday. Found a 12" pre-made piece at Advance for around $6, also got a regular piece just in case. So I can't comment on flaring. But it bent nicely enough and I had to wind it tighter with an extra loop since it was a tad longer than my OG piece.

I have used it on 4 OT cars and love it works easy unbends without kinking.as to flaring no need for gorilla arms almost too easy to blow out a flare.I can get pre flared in a multitude of lengths never going back to regular

Hey Joe, I cleaned them up using a red scotchbrite pad.
It gives them a nice look.

I didn’t try any metal polish on them, I might try a piece to see how it looks.
