Whats everybody, names Sean. Well where to start,****le says it all. I will just elaborate a bit. Im a welder in the repop car industry. I call my girl, Chic. And she calls my car Lucille. Its a mostly original(56 or 58 235 motor) 53 Bel Air. Yup and its got 4 doors and I freaking love it. All my friends, family, and coworkers keep asking what I plan to do with it. My response, DRIVE IT.
Hi & welcome. Dang right - Just drive it. How bout them Cubs. They are keeping me up later than usual on game nights. Hope they keep me up late 2 more times this week. Jimmie
Hey Jimmie, pleasure to meet ya. Glad to see we got some cubbie fans in Texas. Dont think my wife can handle 2 more nights of me yelling at the TV. Gotta tell ya I love the line "if it aint and inline 6 its just a passing fad" Wish I saw more of them at the local shows. Just so tired of all the LS motors ive seen lately.
Hi. My 46 Coupe is still down with my mechanic totally screwing around with the rewire job. Have not made any shows or cruises with it this year. But what I see at all the shows is I get more traffic & questions around and about my engine than most all of everyone else. All the show spectators hardly ever see is all the triked out vehicles with the V* engines and auto transmissions & mags. What they see in mine is a very stock looking 46 Coupe with original stance & tire styles with an upgraded inline 6 engine and it just draws them to it like a big magnet. It really brings back their memories of how "it used to be" in the good old days. I seldom score well as it seems the judges are looking for the modern street rods but who cares on that. I have fun with spectators. Now if we could just get those Cubs to swing at the first strikes the are thrown it won't take so much yelling. Jimmie
