First sorrry for the crappy pics. I went with a buddy to help install a cabinet out of town. Asked the home owner if he had any old Fords like I allways do. Here is what he showed me. Lets just say I was shocked. Only interested in selling the roadster. Going to try and get it.
you always gotta ask, one of those guys who always finds those deals shared that little gem of wisdom with me.
The complete 35 is all original except it was painted in the 70's. That one runs and drives. Sorry guys the other 35 is getting a 350 chevy, billet wheels and a mustang 2 frontend. The model T is all original and runs and drives. Been owned by the same family since it was new. The roadster is complete and in decent shape, but no price was set yet.
gotta love horders sometimes cause they never mess up what's good some of my best deals was just from askin' "you wouldn't happen to have any classics for sale would ya?" good luck
Any body out there know if the 37 sedan delivery is rare/uncommon. Just curious never seen one before
Summer before last an auction in southeast north dakota had a restorable 37 delivery that sold for $8500. Id say theyre pretty rare.
Interesting. might be the same one. Said it was bought at an estate sale rather recent and in the southern part of ND.
wow a 35 and a 36 three window, the one in bare metal looks like a '36, you can tell by the cowl markings...'35s didnt have a cross stamped into them please tell me he aint putting that big fuck off master cylinder on the firewall?? they are both nice looking cars - does he want to sell the complete '35 3w thats driving?
Sedan Deliveries became THE CAR TO HAVE after the appearance of Orville Elgie's 37 Ford on the cover of Rod and Custom. They are very desireable and have a good following.
Most '35 don't have the cross stamp, later ones did. I believe '36 had round raised areas with holes in them for hood bumpers. I'd say the bare metal one is a later '35.
That '37 delivery would have had me slobberin' That would make a killer ride. Good luck with the roadster. JH
I don't think I could have walked around that place without bumping into everything with my raging hard on...
Yes he is. with a chromed out 350 and automatic. The driving 3window is not for sale. Funny thing is, only 2 or 3 years according to the owner Well I had my cell phone. No camera, dumbass me. There was a 57 ford Ranch Wagon(2dr) a 35 ford 5 window, plus spare 35 parts. A 37 Ford moredoor and a 37 humpback Another question. what would be a ballpark value on the running 3 window. All except paint is original. Found 2 rust spots one on pass door corner and one in drivers floor. Both silver dollar size.
28tudor its a hard thing to put a price on these kind of things. they are worth what someone else is willing to pay... ive seen them go on ebay for $18k up to $60 and everything in between for a driving car.... i bought an original running/driving roadster about a year ago for $17k - like your car it had no rust in it at all - there are pics of it in some of my other posts. however after i got it and started looking at it more closely its needing quite a bit of work - but thats OK as the car was cheap enough.
