The Olds will be unique, as hardtops were not commonly used to race/raise/street freak. Please keep updates to how this car will be running safely down the road. There is a multiple poster/poser on this thread that need's to take it upon himself to buy and put back on the road an pre '65 automobile. Satire, yeah right.

Bill...talked to my buddy...he said his sister bought from a guy named Dave from San Mateo in about 1979 1980...Dave bought the car from a guy who lived in Santa Clara who might have been the original guy who had it built? Car was not a formal race car..but a street drag car..had a 324 .120 over with 12 1/2-1 compression, dual quads, fenderwell headers and a Muncie trans. The top end is supposed to be with the car...heads, intake and headers are supposed to be with the car. His sister sold the car to guy named Jim...in Tujunga which I think is Jim Lirones? Lirones hot rod shop in Tujunga...if you didnt get all the parts I am sure Jim Lirones would be like me and keep some stuff to sell on the side...so thats all we got...but we went back to '79 or so...thats pretty good. My buddy confirms the car was built in the bay area and that the dude that built it built others the same way..rounded front frame stubs, same chromed axle, handmade ladder bars and should have a '57 Olds/Pontiac rear with posi/spool and gears...talk to you soon.. Ron

The negative comments posted here is why I don't have a build thread on here. My Henry J was hot rodded only about 35 yrs ago, and is surely not HAMB worthy.

    Hey Blue!
For some reason guys on Hamb & only a few The Hamb is one great place to show & talk about Cars & trucks! But those few like to slam you if you don't say or do perfect with your thread! I guess they have nothing else to do! But the other 98% are great & worth posting your thread give it a try! Tks Bill
