Drove it last night. Engine runs so smooth you can`t hear it at idle.
My wife rode in the rumble seat beaming like a kid.The older fellow is Dave. A very nice guy to do business with. He wasn`t digging having to sell it.

It`s a nice older restoration aimed at driving it. Hence the 12volt conversion, tube shocks and juice brakes. Lots of changes coming without touching the body.

    More pics.

That is a great looking car! Nice find! It is nice when your wife says to buy something like that. I had a similar experience not long ago where I was debating back and forth whether to buy something and my wife finally talked me into it. Thanks for sharing the story.

Yeah. Before I started it I checked all the levels and it was showing a leak at the lower left rad hose so I tightened `er up and filled it to the top with coolant.
It obviously didn`t like that much so it threw it out of the overflow tube when we got back to the house. Never overheated but it was 95 degrees out and I`ll have to come up with an overflow bottle. We drove it a second time and it didn`t reoccur so maybe it`s found a level it can deal with.
Gas gauge doesn`t work, speedo needle bounces and dash lights inop. I almost gave it back.... NOT.

  10. ......more than I've got

  11. Beautiful coupe - congrats on such a nice find. I agree with many on here - a simple drop axle, reversed spring eyes, maybe a bit of vintage speed equipment for the flathead, fix the few problems you've found and enjoy!

I feel your pain; I know it must be a real trial having to put up with that leaky old Deuce in your garage! Seriously, even my sweet wife who pushed me into getting our new shop built and helped me fill it full of oldies, said a deal like that would be sweet enough to 'forego' the obligatory 'discussion and approval' process! Glad you finally got it; we were all freakin' because you might drag your feet and lose it! Congratulations!

Congratulations on a nice purchase, and becoming one of the fortunate few that own a REAL 1932 Ford! Can't wait to see it with a dropped axle and steelies.
