Found a cool gauge cluster..help ID please

    Found it at a local new/used parts shop.

    Looks like it may be going in my A Roadster.

    Let's try to narrow this down. I say it's probably from a forty's low price car because of the 30 lb oil gauge (splash lubrication) and a non-pressurized radiator (212 degrees max temperature). The 100 mph speedometer would seem to put it in the mid thirties to early fifties. With the low reading guages, do you really want to put this in anything with a modern engine?

    Looks very much like a 30's Desoto but the only one I've seen was kinda into the dash and this one is crowned out from the dash.
    Beautiful looking cluster though.
    I'd love to have it!

    i looked for hours last night went through every car from every make from 38-50. closest one was 46-50? desoto. and 46 chevy truck.

    oh btw its not stude those were round.

    Well if I do use it it will be pluged into my 1953 331 Hemi, I'll rebuild it to be more accurate but keep the orig look.....Wow I can't beleive I stumped the hamb guys?!?!?! Has hell frozen over? :)

    Maybe this will help........i have a set of 21" wire wheels from a Diamond T truck that have the same exact emblem(the one under the "MILES" and is green) on the hub caps............
