A couple weekends ago, I was trolling the local cl***ifieds like I do near daily. A guy a couple hours from me was advertising a pair of 32 ish Chrysler sedan front halves, and a "Model A tub". Model A tub? So, I clicked on the ad, and it was in fact, a rough, rough 28/9 rpu cab. I'm still in the parts gathering stage for my own rpu project, and my biggest missing piece of the puzzle was the back half of the cab, which looked quite salvageable on the advertised one. It's home now, and indeed. I can save the back half, and complete my cab. I know these pieces are all available from Brookville, but 1, I'm cheap, and 2, I really wanted OE Ford stuff. As @Squablow has pointed out, "the low hanging fruit has been picked, let's see what we can stick together with what's left". Guess I'd better change my signature line.
I actually stole my signature line from Adam401 but it rings very true. That RPU cab looks like a great score to me, lots of workable metal left in there.
