    Billy M., wow I learned some Pontiac facts with this thread. I was shootin my big mouth off b-4 I knew the real deal. But as I said I am not raining on your parade. I just want to bring my 2-dr Plymouth when the parade happens!! That Jive-Bomber ride is a sweet one isn't it. I had a 57 Nomad early on. Oooops! I let it slip away.I have a buddy in Shreveport who is a Tin Indian collector. My Mom had a 57 Pontiac 2-dr post, which I drove on my Honeymoon and went to the drags and was runner up in my stock class, strange the marriage wasn't a winner either!! Kinda ramblin here!     used to be one of the nomad lookin ones in my neighborhood when I was a kid in Fremont Cal... it was 4 wheel drive. I seem to recall it was on a different frame... but it has been a looooong time since I was a kid so I could be wrong about the frame... definitly 4WD

    Over here in oz we don't see things like that very often. Found an intact sedan the same year if anyones keen I can prolly get it for nicks!! (WA)

  9. thats awesome! i dont know very much about 50's poncho's yet but i love them. i found a 51 chieftan 2 door in a junk yard in big spring i think im going to buy. what kind of trouble am i going to run into with an old poncho? its pretty much complete minus the interior
