  1. Came across this stuff today. It's for sale, but I have no idea what some of it is worth. Some of these I've never seen before. I'm zeroed in on the Thickstun stuff.

    No Name Slingshot 2x2
    Fenton 3x2
    Bill Von Esser 2x2

Wow, nice stash. If the price is right, bundle it up and buy the whole Hog! Trade/sell some off, and net a couple of pieces for yourself.

Can't leave us hangin! Does he have prices? Waiting for offers?
Couple hundred and up, on each of the manifolds, more for the heads.
Offer 2-3K, for the lot, should be able to easily flip them for a profit.
FWIW, there's a clean Navarro, with a cracked boss, on Fleebay asking $600.

Quite a haul, Frank! Looks like you been snooping around in an old racer's shop?
Long time no see, how are you?

    WOW!
Now that's a pile of aluminum!
    Well done, get it all.

  8. Here's more pics.

Thanks for the info. I understand the Navaro intakes are repoed. That hurts some.

$2-3K may not work. Several items here are pretty rare. Those Cyclone heads have to be rare.

Depending on how you sell it, you could come out well ahead at $2k.

21 stud heads are hen's teeth. Last I checked the ones being made now are twice what a set of 24's go for.
Healthy ePay retail on just what you've got in that last set of pix is probably close to or maybe possibly over $2k. - The last bare vintage Edelbrock slingshot I saw went for over $500.

But condition would be a concern with any pile and always get it as cheap as you can. I'd say that if you can afford it without having to make some or all of the money back IMMEDIATELY, then it'd be worth a try. $3k would be too high and leave you exposed to loss, especially if anything ends up being a wall hanger.

  10. Thanks for the input.

Except for dust and dirt dobber nests, I saw no significant problems. One small crack in the temp gauge port on a Cheater head, a chip on the generator mount on one intake and a weld on the Weiand finned head. Water p***ages are all good. No corrosion.

With my flathead project underway, I looked at those intakes and my mouth watered...
I recall when I was 15, building my first Model A roadster trading off an Eddie Meyer 'high-stacker' for an almost new Offie 3 jugger. (well, it was 1957...)
Wish I could trade something back, in hindsight...

  13. Sorry I missed you at Brad's swap on Sat- you were pulling in as I was leaving... would love to tell you that I got all the good stuff before you, but the reality was that I had a 6th grade band concert.

Nice group of parts- wish I were doing a flathead... and had some money :D

  14. Great collection. I'd be interested in that Slingshot if it becomes available.

Nice find. If you get it and decide to sell I would be interested in one of the tall manifolds.

Even at an average of $300 per intake and $500 per pair of heads that's over $4k worth of stuff retail and I'd bet at least a couple would bring more than that in an auction type listing although you'll have to eat a bunch of fees. $2K is a good deal for the lot. $3K you could probably end up with a free pair of heads and a free intake if you sell the rest carefully and put in the effort of selling them.

That's a great find. I'd have a hard time not just keeping them all for myself if I was able to buy those for the right price.
