With that plenum size, I'd guess it'll "hit" at a fairly hi rpm. Smaller plenum, lwr rpm "hit". Marcus...
Around 1980 while at the Nostalgic drags in Santa Anna,Cal(me and my friend were attending from Texas) we ran into the editor of Rod & Custom mag(Tom Senter) of Ardun fame. He had written an article about flathead speed equipment/one in particular named the Pacific Jackrabbit. We inquired about the Pacific Jackrabbit and was laughed out of the arena. They(both men) admitted there was NO such intake. My friend along with some help from me was pissed that we had bee duped and decided to make the Pacific Jackrabbit for real. Eight different intakes were created with some differences between each one. 2 separate ones were sold to HAMB personal and the remaining six were bought by Offenhauser of LosAngeles,Cali approximately 3-4 years ago. Finally, the Pacific Jackrabbit was for real/made for fun with no testing or guidelines, but at least now they did exist.Flatheads Forever!!
There has got to be a reason that all of those garish colored manifolds are in pictures rather than mounted on engines.
Love the air cleaner! Could you post more pics of it? Tunnel rams are off limits here, any pics I've shown of my 31 tudor or the motor with the tunnel ram gets quickly deleted every time...... ...
No they're tunnel rams and tunnels rams are forbidden here.... Unless it just depends on what motors the tunnel rams fit, kinda a double standard thing...... ..
My pic taking was not all the best.. I would not say this is a "aircleaner" due to no filtration involved.. More of a scoop. Not really ideal for here in the desert.
