Caddy is now safe in NY and will be back on the road hopefully by summer, just put my current 68 chevelle build on hold to get this build started. I will be tearing the car down in a couple weeks to get started.

Thanks! Shooting for May 1st as D day to have it on the road and driving, if you want to see it again I plan on driving it to a few CT shows (silver city, roaring 20s, hotrod fallout)

In case you forgot what it looked like when I picked it up..

Will get better photos of the whole car once it is moved outside, caddy is so big it is impossible to get a good complete picture inside!

All right! I'm glad to see the old girl is coming back to life! Are you still gonna run the Caddy flathead? What else have you been able to do?

Been working on the car for almost a year.
Flathead engine was NG and sold as a parts donor for another caddy flathead, probably why the car was parked in the first place.

I know where there is another nice old Caddy in a trailer, unfortunely, some kids set the grass on fire and it now sits alone and unwanted.

(Still worth about $300 in scrap though)

Hey I am glad she made the post and I was able to buy the car. I try to stay out of the classifieds, I end up spending money!

It IS a home! Aren't there apartments in NY with less square footage? When you moving in?

Chassis looks great! Can't wait to see it finished; I think we're as excited as you! The car was actually listed on the classifieds, FENDERS.

Put a 472 in that thing so it will be able to get out of it's own way! Still a Caddy motor, just better.

  29. I also have a 47 Cadillac, a 61 Series 2 Door Fastback, that I'm building. Started a build thread recently, link below...

The car is coming along very nicely, looks to be solid body. Please keep us posted on your updates...

Sent you an email about parts.
