    That would be a 239ci 100hp engine. Not 85 like stated above.

    It still could be an 8BA but set up like an 8RT. It has 8BA heads which were slightly higher in compression than the 8RT heads.
    The water pumps and oil pan are definitely 8RT truck parts.
    Likely it is a 1951-maybe '52 engine due to the B1** casting on the block.
    If it is an 8RT it should have RT or 8RT close to those castings mentioned above.

    This engine will require an 8RT "Truck bellhousing adapter" (mini-bell) and the truck starter plate. You have to have these pieces to bolt the starter on.
    8BA "Car" bell is completely different with a different oil pan, bellhousing and starter plater.
    THESE PARTS DO NOT INTERCHANGE!!!!!!!!!
    but everything else does pretty much.
