I know it's a two year old thread but It's funny how a lot of guys automatically think you stole something when you say you just loaded it up and hauled it home. bodies like that used to be all over out in the sage brush around here where someone had dumped them in the 30's when they didn't take tin at the scrap yards or they wanted the frame and running gear for a wagon. They are hard to find now as most of that old tin is in my neighbors yard after he and his dad drug it home years ago. You will probably find the wagon that was made out of the frame from under that body one of these days.

That body wouldn't have been a touring for those that suggested that as the panel behind the front doors is different.

The frames did get used for a lot of things including this one that became part of a Tear drop Trailer chassis sometime in the past.

The T rails laying on top of it are from other home made trailers that a friend had at his place.

Hey thanks for posting the pics for inspiration. I really wanted to do a build with this body for my wife but just running out of money and time with our other projects. Hate to sell it but someone else might as well get some good out of it.

My brother has 125 acres outside of Cheyenne,Wyoming that had a cool little Model T body onit. He was saving it for me but when I arrived to pick it up from Texas, it was gone. I guess someone just loaded it up and hauled it home......

  7. Gotta love when a guy bumps up a 2 1/2 year old thread to post the wrong info apparently in the hope of selling something.

That said, this was interesting to read about. I did the same with the remains of a T found in what once was a farm dump now off a walking trail in a town park, but around here the body rots away to nothing. If I hadn't got it for my buddy, someone would have scrapped it by now - and I gave it to him, and it sits in his yard, no one made a dire evil profit off it.

  8. the thread is two years old, but the part where he says it's for sale is Two Days old!

Yeah I just listed it in the Classifieds on here last week and then this thread got pulled up from a long time ago. The body is listed in the classifieds like it should be rustynewyorker and I wasn't the one that bumped this thread.
