Having done an analysis of the writing I find that it does not come from 1937 but is in fact writing from 1939. You can tell by the "B" they did not make them like that in 37. There is a mystery here my friends.

Why did you have to ruin a really good time?? We did not need to see the pictures, this was just too much fun.

Sure are a lot of comedians around here.

My guess is it was written on there somewhere along the assembly line, but I don't know why - maybe the guys on that shift had a team, maybe they were going to see the Detroit Tigers play after work. Who knows, but I still think it's pretty interesting.

It reminds me of some writing I found on a wall in my house, after I stripped off a dozen layers of wallpaper and got down to the original plaster that had been there since 1913... apparently, one of the carpenters working on the house when it was being built decided to leave some rude remarks for the plastering crew.
