Technical Four Speed Muncie Tech Info

Well, my trans is ready, so i'm picking it up tomorrow, WOO HOO!!! Turns out, it was second gear that was bad, not third. Came in $150 cheaper than estimate! That means, it'll be back on the road saturday......!

 

Picked it up, installed the shifter and adjusted the linkage. Went to put it in and one of the washers was sticking out, like 1/16"! Had to pull it back out and file it down. Then it slipped right in. Driveshaft in...all good. Today i'll make a dimple for my heel in the cover, add the oil, put the cover on, shifter and boot. Then test drive....Gonna drive it to work tomorrow.
