Any chance that the four-lug pattern from a Fox body is the same as on the early Ford Falcon? Sleeeeper...
I know for a fact, that the Fox body 4 bolt pattern is the same as a six cylinder (4 lug) 65 Mustang. I've done that one. It would stand to reason that the 65 Mustang 4 lug and Falcon 4 lug would be the same.
Early 4 bolt is 4 x 4.5". Fox body is 4 x 4.25. You may be able to make the wheels fit, but the bolt circles are different.
They are not the same......This 65 Comet I owned at one time had the early four lug, strangly it was the same as the Datsun 280Z. That is what these wheels in the pic came off of........oooppps....make that Toyota Celica...sorry,it's been awhile... but the Mustang, Falcon, Comet are the same..... The Fox four lug is not the same......
I don't know if this is helpfull, but a buddy of mine had Fox mustang wheels on his early Alfa Romeo. So I guess those are the same. ( the Italians used a lot of Inch measurements for some reason...) Late Alfa ( 4 Bolt ) is different, it became the smaller 98mm bolt patern that Fiat uses...
That's weird. I took wheels off of a 79 model Mustang and they went straight onto the 65 car. No runs, no drips, no errors.
Not according to this table of bolt patterns. Copuright RRT and all that BS. http://www.roddingroundtable.com/tech/articles/boltpat.html

Copuright RRT and all that BS. http://www.roddingroundtable.com/tech/articles/boltpat.html [/ QUOTE ] I have seen that list before with the same mistake in it. Opel Manta and Opel Kadett are 4X100, not 4X4". I know of a guy that sheared off his wheel studs because he put 4X100 wheels on a 4X98 car... Just because they may bolt up does not mean its right.
Not the same. 4 lug Corvairs and Novas should have the same pattern, though. Some Datsun wheels will fit but the backspacing isn't always the same.
