    Man, there sure are a whole lot of folks on this rod and custom site that do not like customs, unless they meet their exacting standards, or do not look all that custom.

    I like customs but they gotta have some kind of flow, that car don't.

    It's like a 51 merc custom (one of my favs) with a bad chop top job. You just can't unsee it. The bad chop job will ruin the rest of the car no matter how well the rest of the car is executed.

  4. A Custom T style Show Rod can't even remotely be put in the same class as a Kustom Merc You're talking two different worlds there. You're right about a bad Chop. We all know one when we see one.

    Most likely no internal pieces in the block except a scrap yard crank to hold the front pulley. That was the norm rather than the exception.
