Many thanks for all of the feedback. My plates will go front to back (as will the welds) and are cut as mentioned above, inside to inside corner. I like the idea of the "stops" to help with the clamping and initial tacking and will be welding alternate areas to avoid heat build up, etc. But first I have to make up my motor and frame mounts, locate them and box around. I also ordered a super x-member from Dagels to help stiffen things up. Once I get far enough along, I'll do a build thread with pics. Thanks again. RB
