Hot Rods Frame build

    I am looking for some homemade frame pictures to get my gears turning. i intend on starting my truck sometime in the near future and plan for a tube chassis. when did a search i had a hard time finding specific threads. Unfortuntaly i do nto frequent the site as often as i should so i get lost in the wake

  4. There was a 26 or 27 roadster build thread some years back that was a tube chassis- white body with blue tubing... wish I could remember who the op was... stinkin' "sometimers" disease :)

    More info on the truck might help a bit.
    One of my buddies built a parallel round tube chassis for his 27 T in the mid 70's but I don't think I ever took any photos.

    For a rectangular tube chassis the California custom Roadster chassis plans you can buy and download on the net are worth the price just for the tips that help build a better chassis.

    The truck is a 37 chevy cab. It will be Open wheel suicide front end. What i am looking for are some pictures of Zed frames with dimensions/ step hights

    I made my frame with 2x4 tubing.
    And to make a blueprint to the frame i rigged
    the engine, body and wheels where i wanted them.
    Had some 2x4 woodlogs as a frame during the job.
    When everythings looked as i wanted i take the mesurements
    i needed and made the plans for the frame.
    Common steps is the with of the frame in front and around 8 in the back.
