  3. i just did the frame for my 27 and its basiclly a widened 27 frame with a 11 inch rear kick up and 3 inch front. for the rear kickup i figured in how much room i wanted for the axle to move which happened to be as high as i could make it with the channel and ride hight. id worry about the spring mounting hight on the axle. as far as the front goes its up to you really as to where you want the rails to sit with the engine/body etc etc... because the perch does the rest. basiclly just do a lot of thinking and sketches to figure out what you want things to look like.

the easiest thing to do though. buy a few pieces of 2x3 or 2x4 and make the basic frame and piece your parts around it. then you'll know how it all looks.

i could give you a couple pictures of my complete frame and some of the quick little drawings with measurments if you wanted

  6. i think the drawings are in the garage under some stuff...but i was thinking. go to www.wescottsauto.com they have some damn resoursful frame drawings there. heres the frame finished. really basic, quick and not much thinking.

i forgot to add. notice the 2x3 wood frame rails on the grass. in my opinion its a great idea to do that first
