I found---lets say a desirable body today. The owner sent me a pic of this frame later and I really cant figure out exactly what it is. Any ideas guys?

He only emailed me this pic. I was hoping that it was a 32 frame that was usable.:D

    Looks like a truck ch***is

  5. Certainly looks like a 32 Ford, you can just see the left leg of the original K-member.

Looks like it was under a hay wagon with those extra springs - I've bought two rolling like that in the last year.

Yep^^^^^. I don't think it was a wagon, though. Still has a fender on it and the steering isn't locked down. There will be some good parts there.

Yes, 32 Ford, both k member legs are there. The center of the k member looks like it was cut on a bit. Front crossmember looks like it has some major welding on it. Also, looks like the drag link, pitman arm and the right front fender are there. Non stock engine mounts added behind front crossmember too.
I'd say it was a hot rod at one time, not a wagon.

Thanks for the help guys. This is really a strange story. Yesterday I was having a 2-post lift installed in my shop. One of the guys installing it looked at some of my cars for a while, and like normal we chatted for a while about them. He really liked my 30 Tudor that my wife bought me last week. While he was on the ladder working, he told me that his grandfather had an old car from the 30s behind his house. He wasnt positive about what it was. He said that parts for it were ****tered over 2 different farms. He is needing a 390 FE engine for a 71 F100 that he had, so I told him that i was interested in the car and that I would help him with his build. Pics are coming in.

Yep,... 32' Ford. Looks like somebody added the Hurst frame mounts for a late model engine (looks like it might have had a Chevy with a front saddle mount, But that is a guess) And the stock "K" member was cut out at the bottom for a different transmission.....

    Keep us posted on this.

Working on it. Finally got to talk to the grandfather. He ran a 327 3-2's in it for a while and parked it to pull the engine and put it in a 55 Chevy. He got drafted and never moved the 32 after that. Keep your fingers crossed for me guys. Im really excited to have a chance to get a real deal deuce coupe.:D

Its raining like crazy here today, so it looks like it may be later this week before I can go try to get the 32. I cant really get a lot accomplished in my shop for thinking about the car.
One pic shows that it had blue/white interior. Have any other members even seen a rear leaf spring set up like this on a 32?

The pitman arm in the first picture is from an F100 steering box.

He or someone else has removed the original spring and rear end and installed later parallel springs and rear end. Some traction bars have been added too. All that will cut off pretty easily.

Really nice find, and it's amazing this lived behind his garage all these years.
