Im ready to paint my roadster ch***is - any recommendations for a tough finish that is cheap. Id like a black gloss or semi gloss. Im tthinking engine paint out of a rattle can at this stage.

    Thanks

Sem rust shield. a gallon of it is about 50 bucks or so and it comes in satin black. They have a reducer/actavator that makes it glossy. Its durable **** and comes sprayable outta the can. Ive used por 15 on motorcycle frames but its over 100 bucks a gallon..

That stuff does rule. I used it too super cheap. I brushed it on my frame and it came out nice!

Acrylic enamel with a hardner. Should be cheap as anything, nice & glossy (easy to keep clean), & good & hard. Hummm... kinda like me (especially the "cheap as anything" part) :D
