Has anyone used the roll on bed liner to coat their frame? Was wondering how well that would work. It's not supposed to corrode or rust.

It doesn't, the steel under it DOES!
Doesn't matter what you paint it with, if the steel is not prepped correctly. Just ocvering it up won't stop rust. Do a search, there are lots of ways to paint a frame, and have it last.
Me, I prefer sandblasting, then either POR-15 and Chassis Coat, or epoxy primer and Single stage urethane, or Imron. But self etching primer over blasted metal and any BC/CC paint can also be used.

Agree with chopolds, the frame needs proper prep. If you want to use bed liner, check out rattleguard on ebay, I've shot 4 trucks with it, very tough. My current truck has raptor bedliner, also a good product. The spray in bedliners are simple to shoot. With the rattleguard you pour in the texture so you can control how rough it is.

Bed liner will make it hard to do anything with it at a later date. If at sometime you need to hang a bracket, like for a new crossmember after a motor upgrade. You will have to grind off that stuff.
