I'm buildin' a 4 door 28 hudson sedan rat rod. What are your suggestions for a good gauge of square stock steel for the frame? For a heavy all steel body, is 2X3 or 2X4 better?

    Thanks

    2x4 is a lot stiffer.

I was following the antidote buildup, but it seems to have stalled. Anyone know if it still coming together?

well it really depends on engine size, output and overall weight of the car but most warm or hot ohv's would be better with 2x4

Most know that bracket racers are built with .083 box, and that in 2X4 braced well should be just fine. Consider how much support you get from the body itself. Sounds like fun. But I'm with krooser...WTF is a rat rod?
