Went down to the Body Shop this morning and stole the Ole' Man away from a chop job he was about to start, to do breakfast this morning. We heard from the waiter that he was in the May 2006 issue of Street Rodder Magazine. How funny is that?! We picked up an issue and it's a great article that makes him a couple of years younger by the birthday noted in there~Okay by him but he's not ashamed of pushing 80. He was very surprised, honored and humbled because he had NO IDEA that the article was in the makings. Being from more a "radical street custom" background and being featured in such a prestigious magazine geared mainly towards "hot rods" is ground breaking in his eyes. He and Frank Jr., are gearing up for a trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma next week. Monster Garage Old School 51 Caddy Episode with all the "greats" that were on the team build, should be airing in later part of April. (April 17th is what the producer said as of last week.) FINALLY! Keep watch on discoverychannel.com for the air date just in case since it's the final season and things are crazy right now His next move is to be in Paso Robles Memorial Day weekend! He's looking forward to sitting back and enjoying the show and seeing everyone and their rides; old and new. See you there! He's also putting the finishing touches on the book that he's written and that's going to be in the works next.
