Event Coverage Franklin, IN Swap Meet

For the last couple years two friends and I have driven over to Franklin, IN (May 20&21) for the swap meet. We have always gone for the first day, Friday, and enjoyed the day and found a few parts. Just curious if there are a lot more vendors showing up for just Saturday because of work, or is being there right away on Friday AM the better idea?

There are some additional sellers on Sat but that doesn't compensate for all the stuff that's sold on Friday.

The last 2 times I set up I barely paid for my spaces.

 

Friday was kind of disappointing, at least for me. Perhaps it was partially because of the storms that went through Thursday night into the wee hours of Friday morning keeping vendors away. Just curious of those that were there Friday and Saturday, were there more vendors there on Saturday?

Saturday was a bust

 

sold a lot bought some. Friday was a good day for me . had a good time made some contacts .Saturday there was a forecast of rain not many people and some rain.

 

Sounds like the weather was a big negative. This was the 3rd year we drove over from Southeast MO and had always enjoyed the meet. As they say, "Maybe next year."
