Can someone identify this axle. It appears to be a Franklin axle but it is a reverse elliot type unlike the more common elliot type. These are the only pics I have of it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can't tell from your photos, and I sold both my axles, just wondering if you have a Chrysler axle? Bob

Bob...If you look at the ends, they are 'wrapped' and riveted forgings. (much like your old Franklin axles, but are 'Reverse Elliott' in spindle design)

I think this is also a Franklin, but NOT a '24-'25. I would say later, '27 or thereabouts.
The spring flanges are also forged & riveted, dating it to the '20s...but later '20s.

I wish some of this stuff could talk....
