Guys....I posted a WTB on a 8 x 2 manifold for a 392 Hemi....was contacted by guy by the name of
Jim Sounkik

He said he had a 8 x 2 Offenhauser for $350 which I know is not possible... I have not even found one at any price anywhere...he wanted the funds by Money Gram, said his Pay Pal account was not active...mmmm...started checking and found that there was another incident on another hot rod site of a scam involving the same guy....just FYI

The address is a photography studio...

 

I have found that there are a lot of scammers that troll the hamb cl***ifieds and just about everytime I advertise I am WTB a part I get one of these guys.

You used common sense and p***ed.

There is one guy on Ebay, it might even be here, has NOS Offenhauser 8x2 for Chrysler Hemi,
Can't remember his name though...sorry

 

Good move! That's the great thing about the internet- you can check out peoples info. pretty easy.I was dealing with someone last year and checked the address and zip code he gave me and it was for two different places! Another use for waste oil- boiling dirtbags!

I've called their bluff a couple of times. Tell them you'll meet them and add money to save shipping. Never hear from them again.
