Freakin dirtbags!! I hate thieves

I got a call this morning that myt 95 y/o grandpa was rousted from bed at 3:00 am and robbed by 2 masked gunmen. Luckily they didn't hurt him. Man this pisses me off. I'm gonna buy him a face eater for Christmas.
He's practicallyu deaf from working on round engines for 40 years so he never heard em knock out the patio gl*** door. I figure they will be back. I may go stay with him a couple of nights. Just me and Smith and Wesson.

If ya ever get to them first, do the cops a favour and beat the **** outta them. *****s like that really piss me off, glad your Grandpa's ok. I just lost mine at 99 so im kinda wound up.

Thank god he's alright. I worry about **** like this happening to my folks. What makes s***bag crackheads think old people have any money?? He definately needs a JYD for Christmas and maybe a new box of shells!

 

My grandpa lives in the not so nice (as if there is a nice area) of flint and has a loaded 12 gauge under the bed and a ww2 era 1911 in the nightstand. A few days ago he came over because he wanted to get rid of the ammo he had for his 1911 and trade it for something less "questionably legal" in case he had to use it. He also has bars on all the windows and doors. It's a shame when someone who has lived in the same house for 60 years doesn't feel safe there.

 

Sorry to hear about your grandfather Chris. Even if you get those particular s***bags...there are more where they came from. Get an alarm system for him. They aren't that expensive and even a basic system will make the thugs move to an easy target. put in some fake phone lines and hide the real ones. Brinks and ADT have specials sometimes that will get you in a basic system for like $50 bucks and then it's $25 a month... glad he's not hurt!

 

Roothawg.............Ask the local P.D. if they do a security ck of the house and then make recommdations on how to make the house safer. Our local P.D. here does. If not take a long look at the place and make it as secure as you can.

Not to hijack, but my wife got her wallet stolen while she was at Home Depot to get our Christmas tree. Only took four hours to cancel all credit cards and notify the law. She had everything in her wallet. Luckily we caught everything in time.

 

Dude - that really ****s. Glad he's ok, though. Bumpin' old farts just deserves the instant death penalty. Get him a big dog.........with big teeth. Alarm systems are more of a pain in the ***, than they are worth.

 

Shooting the *******s is too good....That said, don't get yourself in trouble for shooting them. The alarm system is the way to go, even if its not as much fun.

Hopefully they will get caught by someone that will take care of them. So glad to hear that gramps is ok.

You won't get in trouble if you shoot 'em. If you are threatened in your home, you have the right to shoot their thieven' piece of **** ***. You're only supposed to shoot to stop them but one of those bullets could wonder off and hit him right between the eyes. Thieves ****. Glad he didn't get hurt.

 

last ****bag prowler that i caught ended up under my jeep differental! made sure that ****bag won't be shopping at my house again. he was glad to see the sheriff!

Sorry to hear that. Does he live out there by you? This time of year is especially bad. Even though we live in a decent neighborhood, Ive told Kim to keep doors locked and keep an eye out for anything odd. My neighbors have already been hit by smash and grabs last month, I'll be damned if im gonna leave anything where its easy for them to take.

if you gotta shoot someone the basic rules apply.

#1- kill them. dead men tell no tales. I don't care if he was delivering flowers, when it's your word against a corpses, it's real hard for them to argue.

#2- make sure they are IN the house when you do it. you have a soverign right to protect yourself, your home and your belongings. the instant they are outside of your home, however, it is a different ball game, and you could be charged with anything from Discharging a firearm within city limits (ask me how I know this stupidity even exists...) to manslaughter or murder. if you shoot him and he crawls outside, DRAG HIS BODY BACK IN. (you were attempting to render medical aid and didn't feel like doing it in the yard- and the phone wouldn't reach. you just kinda forgot to call for help until AFTER the ******* croaked.)

Glad to hear the G-pa is OK! They say the reason the elderly get targeted is that the thieves are usually more interested in drugs than money. Davocet, Valium, Oxycontin etc.
I like the thought of moving into your gramps place for a few days Root. The world could stand to lose a few ****-bags.

This actually happened to an acquaintance on mine - shot the guy just inside the house, he fell out (dead). Didn't drag him inside.
Acquaintance had called the cops both before AND after the shooting (guy was bangin' on the door), cops arrived 10 minutes after.
Acquaintance was not charged, but was advised to move quickly - dead guy was a druggie with friends that might not follow the law quite to the letter.

Moral might be: if you DO have to kill someone, be prepared for family/friends to not like you; possibly to the extent that they would possibly poison you, maybe even high-speed lead poisoning.

I am personally allergic to high-speed lead poisoning.

Actually, Oklahoma has the "Make my Day" law and recently enacted a law that you don't have to even be on your property to protect yourself.

He lives in NW Oklahoma City in a decent neighborhood but there are some apts right behind him. I think whoever did it can see into his back yard. There is a cement drainage ditch that seperates the neighborhoods. They walked up through the ditch and came in over the back fence.

I have called a fireman buddy that subs as a security contractor to put in a system. They wore ski masks and gloves. It was a couple of white guys and they were waving a pistol around. They only took cash and some old coins. They didn't even look at the VCR or DVD, TV nothing. They rifled through his car and took his Christmas present that he had left under the tree.

Pisses me off.

 

In Texas, there ain't no draggin' anybody, anywhere. If they are on your property, and you feel threatened, they then become a statistic. If you are downtown, and you are approached by an unsavory character, tell him your packin', and that usually sends them on their way.
I love not knowing who is, and who isn't. Help to even the field.

 

****ing ******** thieves, i keep a pistol in my bedside table because of the questionable neighborhood i live in. i'm glad your gramps is ok and be sure you do get him a good security system...preferrably with some shotgun tripwires

i say you also get him one of these...it's a makarov cz-52 and fires 7.62x25 submachinegun rounds. it's the only handgun that can penetrate a kevlar helmet so just imagine what it'll do to an intruder. plus they are cheap, less than $200 usually. they have a huge muzzle blast too to even if you miss the first time, the intruders will be ****ting themselves because of the sight of that gun. i know i'm getting one at the next gun show...
