I spotted this in the box today and thought HAMB Summer Camp ! Note the rivets on the cowl .... super cool Happy Friday
Skeezix, Interesting photos. BTW, the TR-2 wasn't made until 1953 and... I hope I'm not wrong on this... the lady who owns this car might possibly be one of my older cousin's best friends. Both were Waves at Pearl at that time and when my family got there in 1956 one had a white TR-2, and my cousin had a Model A sedan and a Porsche bathtub. I sent the image to my sister and she might be able to confirm it. Regardless, thanx for the shots from the way-back machine. I don't know why I missed this image earlier. Gary
How cool that you may know one of the chicks above ! Tonight's visit to the box of prints is here - hope they are fun to look at even if they aren't yer pop.
Dad's 1919 T His parents sold it when he went into Navy - they didn't want a grease monkey in the family An cool wagon and a random GM product (?) with the door open
These are that same wagon - Taken about 1967 in Burlingame Ca - south of SF. Dad was probably scoping this for a project car but with 4 kids 3 and oops ( me ) projects were $ prohibitive. Looking back I can only hope that the mattress remained at the scene Plus it needed tires anyway
Further, my cousin can't place the ladies with the white TR. While I was pretty certain it was her and one of her WAVE friends, I guess not. Rats. Gary
Here is a neat set of photos that include Dad and his buddy Ted using the latest in lifting technology to safely and effectively support this T
I really like the pin striping here - if only this was in color! Signs Say Entry Number 562 Martin Srabian FOWLER _____________ Customized by BARRIS KUSTOM AUTO of Los Angeles
Who recalls long trips in the Wagon with the push button transmission and the Desert Bag on the mirror? I do
