Hot Rods free 440 in tacoma

so any of you guys in the seatle tacoma area that look on craigs probably saw the free 440 under parts yesterday. weeeeeeell i got it! emailed him and was the first so drove down to dupont and picked it up. 77 block so cast crank but im not building a high revving motor anyways. tearin g it down i noticed it was extremely clean. cross hatching on the cylinder walls. pushrods are still shinny and everything. called the guy and he remebered it had been rebuilt about 15000 miles ago. it is bored 20 over has a aftermarket cam that i cant figure out how to identify. oh and it came with a brand new engine stand for free!

i was building a 400 for my 65 d100 stepside but this is just a weee bit better no? also just traded a duster front clip for the new plug and play msd distrubutor so im stoked. heres a pic of the truck

well im a 400 guy. get short blocks for bout 50 bucks pretty easily. but when its free i might as well upgrade i never thought about it stupidly but under parts on craigs enter free. i had alot pop up in my area. complete 305 chevy for free too. im all mopar but maybe get it and flip it?

kimb82 hahah just a bit! had a rod knock and the crank thrust is too much. but im goin to fully rebuild it and nothing was damaged. heads were rebuilt 452s too so even if it was a windowed block i wanted the heads!
