If that thing had a 307 olds in it instead of that***** 6, I would LOVE to take that off your hands! They look great with chromed Olds SSII's on em. I've wanted one of those to replace my daily '64 cutlass for a while so I can get my cutlass in the garage to work on it. Those Olds G-bodies are good looking cars. Ok, enough with the late model talk.

If it's a good driver like you say, just clean it up and drive it. Or sell it to someone who needs a daily driver and make some dough. As I see it, the only customizing that suits that car is the 13" 100 spoke Daytons, hydraulics, Aztec Goddess mural on the hood, full on lowrider treatment. Or maybe '80s NASCAR style. This isn't the right place to ask for help customizing that car.

A free, good running car is certainly a good score, but no matter what, at the end of the day, it's still an '84 Cutlass. In my mind, it's not worth messing with except to maintain as a daily driver.

i've got an aluminum hood and correct hinges for an 80 cutlass....

sbc takes the clamshell type mounts that are plentiful but if ya end up needing them, i've got 'em...

    buy new rubber though..

trans may or may not bolt up, depending on if it's a bi-sexual 350 turbo or not.

been scrapping quite a few g bodies lately

oh yeahm, got a couple of rear sway bars and lower control arms if u b intrested

dont you mean photshop it with it lower and a set of 14x7 wires and skinny whitewalls.. those are perfect lowrider candidates... or with a set of 15x8 ralleys, police caps and 225/50/15 all the way around with a good lowering...

  16. nice score man it'll make a great daily,g bodies are great cars ,round here the rear frame rails rusting away is very common on all g bodies.a guy in my high school had one that was lowered with supremes it looked killer!

Choprods, i agree and have said that for years. I've had 3 malibu's,and an elky , all 'G'body.
Easy to build, very simple design and they lend themselves very well to old style building like dropping in a big block and a stick.
I had a factory 4 speed mali and a 3 speed elky..got hooked on them for a while. I even scrounged about 4 complete standard shift****embly's for 'em.
    Anyway,Congrats on the freebie..

You know what would look really good on that? A strip of metal that extends the roof out over the top of the windsheild, say by about 6 to 8 inches.

It'll help keep the sun out of your eyes, too.

I like those body styles. I have an 84 Regal T Type. Its black and looks just like a grand national. It had the turbo 3.8 but now has a 68 327 bolted to the original bisexual trans. Its a 200r4. I am rebuilding the trans in it now. My first FULL ON******* rebuild. I have replaced that damn reverse drum and shaft or whatever its called in 700r4s enough times to do it with my eyes closed. But I have never done a full on rebuild with new clutches an stuff. Likewise I never been into a 200r4. Oh well its just a damn transmision.

That's a cool daily, hell of a lot better than a FWD*****box. I agree that these are the 55-57 Chevys of the next few years. Full frame and RWD. These and Mustang 5.0's will be the muscle car guys next hot set-up.

Now, if you want more power out of that, a Buick 350 will drop in using the existing motor mounts and*******. A 455 fits as well without any trouble. Other big blocks fit also. For Buick info on this swap go to www.V8Buick.com and one of the sections deals with V-8 swaps on G-bodies.

  28. sweet! I wish someone would give that to me-sure beats taking the bus!
