Is it stuck on the transmission nosecone? If it is, you can try unbolting the nosecone to remove the transmission. I takes small hands or you can remove the bellhousing and transmission together. You might be able to use some penetrating spray to get it loose but you should still remove the transmission, sand the nosecone and replace the bearing. Use a dry lube like graphite or moly on the nosecone and throw out bearing.

  9. I am assuming the transmission is out of the car. Have you tried soaking it with a good penetrant such as PB Blaster, Kroil or a 50/50 mix of acetone and ATF?

That was going to be my suggestion. Soak it down good for a couple of days and try to get it to slide. If you have a gear/bearing puller soak it down and then put some pressure on it with the puller and then increase the pressure every so often when you soak it again.

You could pull the bearing retainer and replace it along with the bearing easy enough or pull it and maybe press the retainer out of the bearing.

Take a torch and cut the bearing, leaving the "stuck on" part. Gentley heat it and tap it off. Penetrarting oil may be needed.

Always instal a new throw out bearing every time you drop a tranny. (unless of cource, you are really bad at shifting and have to replace the cluster every week)
