I found an antique gas pump that I want to buy. The problem is that the pump is in Kansas and I am in North Carolina. Has anyone used a shipping company to ship something this big that that wasn't very exepnsive? It probably weighs about 300 pounds with the crate. Any suggestions??

You'll get more accurate info by contacting the trucking companies that serve both areas and get their prices, as they will vary.

  3. Check FreightQuote. We use them all the time at work. You can pick the carrier, transit time and price point.

It will be cheaper if you can get it delivered to a business address that has a loading dock.

I use unishippers, they shop it around for you to get the best rate. They do UPS too. They've done a great job for me.
