Hello, I've been lurking here for a year or so. I'm 35 and in Albuquerque, NM. Been playing with cars forever. Dad was a mechanic when I was young so I guess it just rubbed off. Current projects include '59 Chevy 3200 Apache driven daily. '55 Chevy 4-dr Wagon awaiting it's new 283 and automatic. '30's Buick? Hot Rod has a ways to go. Still need to decide how to make the suspension. I Think I'll lurk on that for a while more. Looking for more parts like grill, trans, rear, etc. Should I use the '55 Pontiac motor or use a six that will snuggle right up to that buick 8 firewall? More to come with future posts. Dave
Hay Fish Great to have ya here! Cool Milk Truck !!! Well thats milk and cookies, who going to add bread truck ? ...... What was it?.....Louver Dude
It was a Taystee Bread Co. Truck. The original plan was to drop it and use it to transport my HO slot car track to shows and stuff but I got busy with other work. I also liked it because it's the same year as the airstream and I'd like to see them both polished and cruisin' down the highway. Or I may trade it for another project. who knows.
