Looking at the offerings by Speedway. The aluminum shocks appear to have one friction disc and the
Offenhauser shocks appear to have 2 friction disc. My non engineered trained brain says the Offenhauser would be a better? Any opinions or experience?

Looking at the photos of the Offenhauser shocks. The outer metal disc against the beveled star washer would need to be fixed in place so it doesn't move for the second friction disc to be effective. One way to do a double disc is to make your own and have 3 shock arms, 2 short ones that would be welded to the frame or a bracket and then one longer one going to the axle. I'm sure by now you've already made a decision but just wanted to add this for future folks that find this with the search feature like i did.
