  1. In more ways than one.I guess slowness isn't confined to the HAMB;I just tried struggling through StarPhoto.
Anyway it is Friday(EDT anyway) so being all fired up from Tech Week I thought I'd start off the post with a few from this week, and maybe a couple oldies. So here goes boys and girls:

Well guys, here's KRITZ's rendition of some art from RYAN, or was it GRIMLOK??? [IMG] [IMG]
If you guys read the post about speedshop logos you'll know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, yes, I am dumb enough to put this on me permanently! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Sorry 'bout the crappy pic, it's an awkward one to shoot by yourself! [IMG] (just above my left knee)

B-Day present I just painted for my wife, Babs. 9"x12" masonite, candy yellow and orange Auto Air background with One Shot painted tiki mug. Surprise...another crappy digital pic from Barnett!! (got the light glare figured out...just couldn't get any clarity)

Dan:Try shooting a little closer and just frame the artwork in the viewfinder. To eliminate glare,I usually shoot from far away.I'm using a Sony Mavica on the standard setting(so my file won't be too large to post)and I have great luck with it.Gets great closeups too.(see pic)

Pic looks better, now, but I don't think ShortBus or the other camera guys have to worry about me stealing jobs from them. [IMG]

Steve, I really thought hard about having that put on my arm. I guess I'm too much of a girly man to go thru with it. You're my hero! [IMG]
Some great work on here, as usual.

  22. I agree:some great stuff showin' up today.Jeff,I especially like your RF type characters and I can't believe that tat design became a reality so fast!Nice!
I'm going to stick in a couple of closeups of work already posted to show eye detail and an older one I did for fun;just a series of teardrop shapes randomly attached on the back of a quart thinner can,and then I'm going back to bed(after the dog goes out and chases a few squirrels).

In his modesty, what Brush didn't tell you is that our club won the top prize for the banner thanks to his work! I am now the proud owner of the banner which now hangs inside on my garage wall. That banner must be 10 feet long!
I now charge admission to anyone who enters the garage.
