I can't go another week without replying to this post. I have hesitated to put some of my stuff on here, because I didn't do it. But I collect as much as I can, so that is what I have to contribute. Here is a tast of my collection...some by HAMBers. 1. Carve board by Jimmy C. It was his created shortly after Roth's passing. Flip side is flamed and signed by Roth.
Here are a couple of pictures done by Adam- 13horrorshow13, he does some kick- ass work! First is of my 28 model A sedan
This one is a pic of my fathers car, 66 Buick LeSabre... pretty cool stuff for the amount that he charges!
I've sculpted some "monsters" that are being cast in resin by Freeman Cars with the intent of applying them to model cars or the Muscle Machine Die Casts... no pics of the finished sculpts, but here's the instruction diagram I quickly sketched up for "Dr. N2O" the bottle-fed freak.
One More. From the other side. The other two works in the background in the fist shot our mine also. Later, BS
Nice work as always folks... good stuff this week. Wow. Makes a guy jealous! Here's just some little stuff this week. I need a tripod. I love shots at night, but shit gets blurred so easy...
WOW VT, Thanks looks awesome! Did'nt do one auto related thing this week, or paint for that matter but heres this...
Nice work everyone! K-member...that's a real smooth version of that design! I'm really gonna have to get you to do a tattoo on me. Here's a tattoo shop door I designed & painted this week. Too bad all the shading didn't show up in the pic. I guess I'll have to goback and take another pic.
Been working on this for months! Finally finished and got a picture of it. It's done on MDF, in several pieces, and screwed together. Painted with House of Kolor paints, in real candies, pearls, graphic colors, and urethane clear. It's the first time I've done this type of airbrush work (hammer and torch). I used the Air Syndicate video as a guide to do the woodgraining in the hammer handle. I think it came out pretty good for a first time! The only thing I didn't do was the lettering. I sent the pieces to a friend's sign shop, and he wound up doing it in vinyl, instead of hand painting it. I was disappointed. It's going outside the shop, above the entrance door.
I don't know it these are really art, but I painted them so they could be included. My wife and I bought a house on monday and I figured I needed something to decorate my garage walls. I'm not even going to tell you what it cost because all you california guys will immediately want to move up here. Since we just spent most of our money and she's going to be spending more painting the inside of the house, I had to come up with something for nothing, so I painted these with brushes that were laying around, spray paint, and scrap wood. Don't give me a hard time, the brushes were just crap that I had, not anything like a striping brush. First one is, obviously, the old Hot Rod magazine logo, Spray Paint and Kilz primer on pressboard. I'm going to rough it up with some sand paper to make it look old: Second is a blown up version of the picture Adam did of the Wayfarer. He told me to do whatever I wanted with the picture. I scanned it and made a copy, then drew a grid of one inch squares over the picture. Next, using scrap wood, I drew a grid of five inch squares on the board and skeched each piece one square at a time. I learned how to do this in fifth grade, never knew it would come in handy:

I may have to try that, my walls are looking kinda bare too.....
