I just wanted to say a few words about @rusty1 and the amazing, very cool artwork, he shares with us all every week.
His style of artwork reminds me of the various styles seen by the great artist's in the late 50's and early 60's, when there was such a thing as the Comics in the Sunday funnies, in the older news papers.

I really loved reading all of the Sunday funnies regardless of the comic strip whether it was Our boarding house with Major Hoople, or Mutt and Jeff, or The Katzenjammer kids, etc, etc, the list is long.

Now each week, I love to see if Rusty added any aliens to his contributions, and its fun for me, to potentially be the first one to correctly count and catch all of them, its like a little treasure hunt so to speak!

There used to be a section in the old funnies where the artist would have a large square picture of some thing really simple, such as a scene from a typical mid western farm yard with the barn and trees and wagon and duck pond, etc, etc, etc.

There would be a section to that drawing, that had a list of things to find, and it would be listed as "find these 8 or what ever number of things" that were hidden in the drawing, but hiding in plain sight.
There was also a section at the very bottom of the drawing that was in small print and printed upside down as it was the list of things that were hidden.

It allowed you to cheat if your brain could not find all of the hidden items, but the discipline it required to not turn the paper upside down, is what made it more fun and challenging!

Only us older geezers will remember such items from the past, as to how cool the Sunday Funnies were.

Rusty's artwork and the little "Kilroy was here" type aliens, that sometimes appear in his cool pieces of art, reminds me of those days!
Thanks from Dennis, for all of the fun Rusty!

...nothing new, but some red to go along with @jnaki's lead...this work of mine was sold at a charity auction...

The title is "Speed" with the theme being pick a word and create an artwork with a collage of things that relate to that word...the medium is pencil/colored pencil on paper...

Don't forget to get your sweetie a card and chocolates...;)

Glad to be here with you all and as mentioned great works everyone...

    Regards,
    Stogy

I look forward to the art show every week, myself. Even if I don't have anything prepared, I try to make something worth while before I wake up to go to work at 6:30 a.m., like mine this week.....I restore valve covers as a hobby, and to keep my creative juices, metal working, and painting going....just piled a few of the current projects up and snapped a bunch of pics. Some of you guys are insanely talented, thanks for letting me be a part of this.

I am also a rusty1 fan. I have a group of his artwork prints/copies that hang in a couple spots in my garage! When working, it's nice to look around and see them.
