This is one that sixinarowjoe and I worked on...he did the tiki, I did the bamboo & vines. Once Joe sends me some more of his stuff, I'll post them. He painted up some great stuff that weekend
[ QUOTE ] Some things I worked on at Joe Sulpy's Pinhead/Letterhead meet in Ledgewood, NJ lasy weekend: [/ QUOTE ] DAMN......I sure did miss y'all....... Nice stuff
Kali here... Yummmmm... foooooood... Zeke, you kick some serious culinary **** Johnny is jolly w/cans of refried beans & pizza... I tend to be the gourmet of the family. I want the stuffed leaves.... gimme.
Ah hell I'm just a decent cook is all. Thanks Kali. The g**** leaves were tasty but that jambalaya was more than likely the best thing I've made in my life
OK here goes, just so you know I NEVER show my stuff to anybody and I'm nervous as hell about posting this stuff but there are so many cool things popping up on the Friday art posts that I thought I'd give it a try. Sorry for the **** quality and I hope these come out big enough to even see as I don't have a scanner and just shot pics with my camera...
Skate Fink, I was looking forward to seeing you there...real sorry about your cir***stance. We'll see ya there next year, right? RATBOY, that thing is awesome! Don't be nervous about posting your work. I know I know the stuff I'm doing doesn't float everyone's boat, and it isn't the greatest...but it's what I'm doing. I find it inspiring to see what other people are doing. Maybe someone will be inspired by what YOU do. I dig it.
FatHack: Thanks for the kind words man, I love you CarToons! I grew up on the magazine Cartoons and it really influenced me when it came to art. The first thing I posted was a linoleum block print that I just pulled today from an old block I carved about 8 years ago. The other stuff is either pencil or rollerball pen. Nailhead: Thanks for your comments too, I'm not sure what my hang up is about showing my stuff, it drives my wife crazy because I usually just throw stuff away! This Friday night post really does kick *** because you do get to see all the different things people are doing, no matter what their background or jobs or style etc.. and now I need to get some of Zeke's Key Lime pie as thats the best thing I've seen on here yet!
My creeper that I did a few years ago.I use it regularly and the striping seems to stay on pretty well.
Glad you like it.Here's a couple of pix of what you can do when you have WAY too much time on your hands!
