Well, you guys did prove me wrong. I apologize and now my confidence is shaken so badly I’ll have to go into therapy till next FAS where I’m sure I will em-bare-ass myself again. Another thing, you guys get 10 for a buck and up here we would only get 7 for our buck down there.

  11. Believe it or not the diner behind the McDonald’s sign is an actual working restaurant. It’s quite good.

    I love old Jeepsters!
They are an acquired taste, but they are still very cool!

  13. Yes, Lamy’s Diner, originally located in Marlborough, Massachusetts, offers a classic 1946 New England diner experience with menu items inspired from diners of that area and era.

  19. And very reasonably priced. We ate there last year. Shared fries and a Chomsky. Their burgers were perfectly cooked and all were thoroughly enjoyable!

  21. Correct me if I’m wrong @johnnyjalopy(and I might be) but are you the same individual who drew a picture of a certain cartoon hotrod which was built by Ian Rousell?

I'm not an artist... I was probably the kid eating the crayons or stuffing them up my nose when I should have been learning. But this drawing I really like.

Tried to think about what speaks to me in the image, though wary of cutting open the goose that lays the golden egg (I love reading, but find the pulling apart of texts to study really does kill the goose for me):

I like the blue coloring of the garage. It's a cool, dark place to get stuff done.
I like the way the gas axe flame stands out, without any need for colour.
I like the ellipses of the wheels of the rod passing by giving a sense of speed.
I like the width of the garage... like mine, there is just enough room to work alongside the car, no more.
I like the treasures stacked along the wall framing.

    Cheers,
    Harv
