I think I have the one from last week done...what do you think? does it need anything more?

here's a new one for this week. It was inspired by a photo of Hudsoncustom's car here on the HAMB

  3. Hot off the drawing board..................

A couple of weeks ago I showed a bunch of quick 8-1/2 x 11 inch pencil sketches that I had done on the 25th of last month, of Fifties/Sixties style show/concept cars. Here is a simple tipped up side elevation rendering of several of those combined ideas.

Central spline splitting the windscreen/side window openings (D.L.O.s) and then turning into a center rear fin, with twin matching fins over the rear tires. Front tires partially skirted by banana fender forms with waste gates at the trailing edges. Side "organ pipe" exhausts (don't know how you would enter the cockpit without burning yourself, but who cares!). Whitewall tires on spun aluminum rims.

Art markers, Prismacolors, ball point pen, pastels, gouache & talcum powder on both sides of 11 x 17 inch Clearprint vellum.

Luckystike, I am feelin' you man.

It's -29 degrees here is SE Iowa and the Friday Art Show is smoking HOT!!!

I should have skribbled something down for the show since I have actually been able to sit at the drawing table lately....maybe I'll quit doing the still life stuff long enough to get into one of these shows soon...

GaryC - the twin mill sketch-to-render is enough to make a guy smile all day man, and that's the tip of the FAS iceburg.
